At a community meeting, everyone was brainstorming ideas to provide the children at the local orphanage with a happy Christmas. I came up with the idea of renting a Toronto Party Bus, having some people dress up as Santa Claus, and having the bus drive around with the children and Santas inside. They would go to various places during the day and have a lot of fun. At the end of the trip, the kids would go to the toy store and the Santas would help them pick out a few toys that they would get to take back to the orphanage with them.
Since it was my idea, I volunteered to dress up as one of the Santas. I didn’t quite look the part of a Santa, but thanks to a little padding, makeup, a fake beard and a little glue, I quickly turned into the jolly one himself. Read the rest of this entry »
